Ms. Sanders has more than 25 years of professional experience in public accounting focusing on local governmental and not-for-profit organizations.She has an expertise in audits of employee benefit plans and compliance audits of federally funded programs. She is experienced in providing accounting and related services to commercial enterprises. She has been a speaker for various professional organizations.

Ms. Sanders is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the ASBO. She is a former Director of the Suffolk County Girl Scout Council and provides assistance to various not-for-profit organizations.

Ms. Sanders has received the AICPA Certificate of Educational achievement in Governmental Accounting and Auditing and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Southern Connecticut State College and a P.B.M. in Accounting from Kean College.
