Ms. Colette Bennett, CPA
Director of Financial Audits

Ms. Bennett has twenty years of professional experience in public accounting. She manages audits of governmental and not-for-profit entities and also has specialized in taxation, including corporate, individual, and estate. She has been involved in valuations for compensation litigation, commerical businesses, and real estate holdings. In addition, she has lectured on income taxes, 403(b) and 457 deferred compensation plans, and the use of various accounting and tax software.

Ms. Bennett is a member of the both the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She has received the AICPA Certificate of Educational Achievement in Tax Planning and Advising for Closely Held Businesses.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Dowling College.
